Galvanized track surviving
On a house from the early '70s, that inspection often turns up galvanized track that's held up fine, paired with a spring or cable that's simply done. We replace the failed part to match the door's weight and cycle needs rather than grabbing whatever's closest off the truck - a torsion spring sized wrong for the door either binds immediately or wears out again within a year.
